Copperhill Copperhill is a modern American restaurant and tap room on Long Island. I have had the pleasure of dining there three times in the past 4 weeks. The bartender knows how to mix a drink. The staff is very attentive. And the food was superior.........each time. Their menu encompasses a snack section which includes warm olives, blistered shisito peppers and poutine, which is short rib, potatoes and gravy. It was amazing. There is a cheese selection and great salad choices. The foie gras was incredible (house made) as was the grilled octopus with white bean. The grilled artichoke and the soft shell crab were both so fresh and tasty. There is a toast selection and the toast with the fresh ricotta with honey was sweet and savory and delicious. Roasted rainbow carrots with chickpeas and feta and pistachio was luscious, and even more so the next day. I have never ordered a strawberry cobbler in my life. I could probably never order it anywhere else. It was the perfect end to a perfect dinner. It’s a great menu and wonderful if you are a meat or fish lover, or a vegetarian. Fine dining has come to Long Island.
